Someone: It's very rare I arrive at a juncture like this where I'm genuinely torn as to who to vote for. Both these guys are really cool, really cool as in I could easily be stuck in an elevator for 12 hours with either one. I haven't hung out with Alex near as much, but I feel like we'd actually be pretty solid pals if I lived in Canada or something. I actually consider DK one of my best buds in the-elite, despite the fact that our relationship is a bit strange (probably because we're both a bit strange). I'm voting for him because he's hilarious, he plays obscure video games because he likes them and who gives a shit if no one has heard of them, and because he shows patience and contentment in living his life, which is something I'm very envious of. Hopefully I can learn to be more like DK in that regard as the years go on; for now, I'll say thank you for his nebulous contribution to my well-being with this vote.
Someone: To have made it this far should be sweet for both. More so for Alex I would think, only because of him being a near ancient member, not posting much or chatting much, not PR'ing recently and STILL making it to the Final Four. This feat is breathtaking on many levels. Congrats to you, old friend, win or lose. Your run has been outstanding and you will always be remembered fondly one of my favorites. Vote for the DEEP.
