Someone: Like most people in this community, I was probably the best "gamer" among my friends growing up and at college. After going to VA for several years and watching and playing against Patrik, I now know what it must have been like for my friends who were always just a step or two behind. If anyone deserves the title of "elite", it's Patrik.

Someone: Patrik always showed his love of the game from years ago, and back then his euro trips and GE meet ups weren't really as noticed as much as they are today. It could be that the community has shrunk and the hardcore elite have stayed the course and realized that through the gazillion spam and hazy posts on the boards, Patrik was doing his thing, and still does. So here is a vote from someone who saw that he had long staying power and his style was the future of the elite.
